LooRoos is a parent owned business located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (just outside Toronto). Our on line store recently opened to offer parents an opportunity to purchase directly from us, the manufacturer. Our children, now past the diapering stage used cloth diapers that were designed by Janice, the owner. These original diapers did not have the waterproof PUL outer, that is currently available, but were fitted, fun, environmentally friendly and cost efficient. Several other parents started requesting these fitted diapers and the concept of manufacturing fitted cloth diapers began. Quality cloth diapers that were manufactured in Canada were in short supply and LooRoos was created in an effort to bring quality cloth diapers, at reasonable prices, to Canadian parents. Our goal is to change the way you diaper, one baby at a time.

LooRoos owner, Janice, is a graduate of Sheridan’s design program. She has over 20 years of business experience and is involved in ensuring parents have quality childcare options as well as healthy diaper options. Together with her partner, an all-in-one, fitted diaper has been developed, a long way from the original diapers she made for her children. The LooRoos diaper consists of several layers. Starting with 100% cotton flannel, next to baby’s bottom, 55% hemp – 45% cotton fleece layer, 55% hemp – 45% cotton terry soakers, 100% Birdseye cotton, and finally a layer of water resistant PUL. These diapers are offered in both a snap and Velcro closure option. LooRoos also offers a 100% organic cotton diaper with both closure options, 55% hemp- 45% cotton nursing pads, and travel bags. We have just introduced our pocket diapers. It is made of a waterproof PUL outer layer, and a stay-dry micro-fleece inside layer. Each pocket diaper comes with one 55% hemp/ 45% cotton fleece insert for absorbency. These are our fastest drying diapers.
